ICAB/ACCA JOINT EXAMINATION SCHEME

In 1982 the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Barbados (ICAB) entered into a Joint Examination Scheme (JES) Agreement with ACCA.  ICAB is the only JES partner in Barbados  and any student pursuing the ACCA designation must be registered with ICAB. 

Any person who has completed the ACCA qualification and is a  member of ACCA, is eligible to become a member of ICAB   .  

OBLIGATIONS UNDER THE ICAB/ACCA JOINT EXAMINATION SCHEME:

  • All students must simultaneously register with ICAB and ACCA as a student member.
  • All students must comply with ICAB's By-Laws and Regulations .
  • All students must keep his/her profile and contact details up-to-date. Each student can log onto the ICAB member portal and update his/her contact details.
  • All students must pay ICAB's annual subscription fee AND ACCA's annual subscription fee by January 31 of each calendar year.
  • All students must keep up-to-date with all correspondence issued by ICAB and ACCA.
