CONTINUING PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

Terms of Reference

• To formulate, review and recommend policies relating to post qualification study by members for adoption by Council.
• To introduce a continuing professional development programme for members and to monitor its development.
• To ensure that the annual CPD loading is adequate to meet the needs of our diverse membership.
• To review and audit the annual returns of members in accordance with the CPD regulations.
• To assist the Secretariat in planning, executing and managing the annual CPD seminar and conference programme.
• Assess the applicable CPD hours/rating for ICAB approved seminars.

• To liaise with other Committees in the determination of subject matter for the continuing professional development programme for members and for courses on related subjects for non-members.
